Satoko Kajita

Satoko Kajita was a jazz vocalist the Kobe area in Japan and taught literature at the Kobe City University of Foreign Studies (M.A. English lit.) where she completed her doctoral courses.   She received a scholarship to study voice performance at Berklee College of Music in 2003 and moved to the U.S, to study voice performance at Berklee College of Music with a scholarship, and received the Two-Year Certificate. She taught the Alexander Technique in NYC area and assisted with Alexander the classes at The New School, Bernard College, JCC, ACAT, New York Open Center and Mozart Academy. She also performed as a vocalist and Sanshin player in NYC area.   Satoko relocated to Washington DC in 2011.
