Janet Frank

A cellist in The National Symphony Orchestra, Janet Frank has taught Alexander classes in Washington, D.C. and in 14 states as part of the NSO’s American Residencies Program. Janet has been teaching since 1984 and strives to adhere to the principles as set forth by Mr. Alexander. Her most influential Alexander teachers were Marjorie Barstow and Pete Trimmer. Having taught every instrument in the orchestra, she prefers to work exclusively with musicians.
