My initial training is as an actress and, along with performing, I have been training actors in universities and privately for 35 years. In 1992 I completed my training as a teacher of Alexander Technique with The Alexander Alliance. As an Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) I teach classes in the technique to actors and to musicians. I also teach AT at national conferences and I maintain a private practice in my home in northwest Baltimore, where I teach anyone who wants to experience greater comfort in daily movement.
