Ed Bilanchone

Ed has been teaching movement studies in dance, (Ballet and Modern), Exercise Rehabilitation and the Alexander Technique for 30 years. He currently teaches individuals and groups. Ed has been an adjunct professor at George Mason University in the Performing Arts Department.

Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as an Approved Provider for Continuing Education, he teaches a 2-hour introduction to the Alexander Technique, and a 6-hour course entitled, "Body Logic: Pushing, Pulling and Lifting for Massage Therapists.”

In 2003, Ed gained certification by the U.S. Golf Teachers Federation as a Level III golf instructor. He teaches at Hilltop Golf Club in Alexandria. He has published articles on the connection between golf and the Alexander Technique, and is working on a book that shows how to apply its principles, Tai Chi and neuroscience to improve consistency and gain confidence in your golf swing.

He lives in Alexandria, VA.
